On Sunday Nov 23rd the American Music Awards will be televised. The list of performers includes some of the biggest names in music: Coldplay, Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers, and Kanye West. As for the nominees, there are four big names who have been nominated for three awards: Chris Brown, Coldplay, Eagles, and Alicia Keys. All four of these have been nominated for the Artist of the Year award. Another interesting award is the Breakthrough Artist award, which is basically for Best New Artist, although some of the artists nominated started hitting the charts in 2007.
