Has there ever been an album that kept legions of fans waiting longer than Guns N' Roses' "Chinese Democracy?" Probably not, but as it turns out, the legions of fans had severely dwindled over the years. If "Chinese Democracy" had been released 8 years ago, it would have probably sold a million copies in its first week of release. But last week it only managed 261,000 in one of the busiest album-shopping weeks of the year for consumers. At least the single "Chinese Democracy" is doing well with fans. This week on the THO 100 it is the highest-debuting song on the chart, beating debuts from heavyweights Coldplay, Girls Aloud, and Sugababes. The gap between #1 and #2 on the chart closed, and we could see a new #1 next week...- Current THO 100
