Not surprisingly, the Black Eyed Peas take over the #1 position on the THO 100 this week. "I Gotta Feeling" has been the top song on the Billboard Hot 100 for a few weeks now, and the song's popularity has been spreading through the rest of the world. This week it ends David Guetta's run at the top with "When Love Takes Over" (featuring Kelly Rowland). "Love" was #1 for four weeks. Just prior to that, it was the Black Eyed Peas who sat in the top spot for five weeks with "Boom Boom Pow." "Boom" and "Love" are the Peas' only number one songs, although they've had four other songs reach the top five, starting with "Where Is The Love" in 2003. Will their current #1 last as long as "Boom Boom Pow" did? We think it probably will, because after Jordin Sparks' "Battlefield," it will take a few weeks for other songs' popularity to rise to the same level. But we'll see what happens....
