Not surprisingly, the Black Eyed Peas take over the #1 position on the
THO 100 this week. "
I Gotta Feeling" has been the top song on the Billboard Hot 100 for a few weeks now, and the song's popularity has been spreading through the rest of the world. This week it ends David Guetta's run at the top with "
When Love Takes Over" (featuring Kelly Rowland). "Love" was #1 for four weeks. Just prior to that, it was the Black Eyed Peas who sat in the top spot for five weeks with "
Boom Boom Pow." "Boom" and "Love" are the Peas' only number one songs, although they've had four other songs reach the top five, starting with "
Where Is The Love" in 2003. Will their current #1 last as long as "Boom Boom Pow" did? We think it probably will, because after Jordin Sparks' "
Battlefield," it will take a few weeks for other songs' popularity to rise to the same level. But we'll see what happens...
